Bio
Bill is a creative leader specializing in making content for television, film, and sports. A leader first and foremost, he takes most pride in helping his team bring their creative visions to life.
Originally East Coast-based, Bill spent time in Philadelphia working on a local TV show, Breakfast on Broad, where he did everything from assistant directing a daily live broadcast, field producing, and writing the social media-focused segment.
He then went on to write for NBC Sports. His stories were featured on in-game broadcasts and inspired a feature that aired during the Olympics primetime coverage.
During this time, Bill received multiple honors for his work, including the 2015 Sports Emmy for Outstanding New Approaches, 2017 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Trans-media Sports Coverage, and a 2016 Mid-Atlantic Emmy for Sports Daily or Weekly Program.
In 2016, Bill transitioned from sports to the entertainment industry where he began his marketing career at HBO in New York. He started working on HBO Sports programming — specifically Boxing, sports documentaries, and Hard Knocks — but soon worked his way over to the brand side where he continues to ply his wares today.
Now the creative director overseeing HBO and HBO Max’s social and digital presences, Bill oversees a team that creates the over 400 pieces of unique content per month.
His work has been featured in the New York Times, Saturday Night Live, and The Tonight Show, among other outlets, while also earning him industry awards and honors. Those honors include a 2020 Webby for Best Overall Social Presence, 2019 Silver and Bronze Clios, and a Bronze Pencil at the 2019 One Show Awards.
In his free time, you can find Bill surfing, chasing after his dog Bodie, or perusing some John Le Carre-style spy novel.
